You know what I love about Yen Du? Their Prawns a la Yen Du. It's so hard for me to eat anything else here because the dish is just so damned delicious. My family and I go and almost all of us order the exact same dish! However, everything I've tried here is definitely worth it.
The restaurant is family-owned and they're always very nice. It's always packed as well! They cater, have small event rooms, and it's overall just a nice place to stop in. But be forewarned that if it's a weekend, their it parking lot is full so it's hard to grab a bite. But if you can get in, it's with it! Delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced! -

This was a great find close to my workplace. Clean restaurant, great service, and delicious food. We went there for the lunch special and what a great bargain for solid Chinese food.
Chinese Lo Mein with tofu and veggies, 4.5 stars! -

It's official...Yen Du is my new favorite Chinese restaurant when I am craving Szechuan style food. Last night we got our usual-sizzling rice soup, pot stickers and Mongolian beef with a side of steamed rice and it was all amazing. I haven't tried their house chicken yet, but if it is as good as everything else, I will bump them up to 5 stars!
The place has a nice ambiance, the staff is always friendly and I love that they box up your leftover food for you. I think the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and the amount you get as we always have leftovers. Definitely my new go-to! -

6/26/19 - I haven't been eating out too much lately, kind of upset with the taste of foods & prices they want for mediocre food and service in Stockton!! So today, I am busy doing errands and I grab an early dinner it's almost 4.
I order one of my favorite dishes beef chow Fun with pot stickers. The pot stickers were good as usual, but the chow fun was half cold, no flavor and just a little meat; tons of noodles. Not up to par!!
I like going there after the lunch crowd because most of the time I am a lone dinner, and I don't want to take up the space of those who are working and on a schedule. Plus I feel they can prepare your food better.
Something was lacking on this trip. I only saw one waiter and the owner. I had to ask for napkins and I know you have to ask for a straw because of what's going on with that issue.
My meal was $18.+ and I left a tip anyway! My experience was not good this time, I hope it improves or maybe I should go at lunch too. I often think about ordering food to take out, but every time I think about it, is on a Tuesday and they are closed on Tuesdays. -

Great chow mein and the a few other dishes were good as well.. ambiance is nice and cozy. A perfect date night or family dinner variety for all. I'd recommend to friends/family.
